| I have a simple thought for today. Psalm 8:3-4 says:“When I consider Thy heavens, the work of Thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which Thou hast ordained; What is man, that Thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that Thou visitest him?”From the smallest blade of grass to the great expanses of the universe, God’s handiwork is clearly seen. The simple truth that there is a creation proves there is a Creator. But what gets me every time is the fact that such an amazing God cares about me. The Psalmist David said that God’s thoughts towards him were precious (See Psalm 139:17).This gives me courage and hope that no matter what lies ahead in this new week, this Monday, this very moment, God’s love and care for me is beyond comprehension and understanding. He has precious thoughts toward me, and He knows the deepest desires of my heart, and He loves me. Take a moment to think about God’s care and handiwork in creation and be reminded of how much more He cares for you and I. Be encouraged. Chad |
