One Act of Kindness

by | March 18, 2024

Last week was a hard week. The two little ones have been under the weather, which makes sleep difficult. Emotionally, I felt drained by some things that had come up, and it was a struggle to get everything done each day. Last Sunday, after a long week, I was given a letter with a little gift inside. I don’t know who it was from, but it touched me. The words in the note felt as if someone had looked inside my heart and penned the exact words I needed. They didn’t know how I was feeling or what my week had been like, but they encouraged me in such a big way.
I started thinking about the verse,
“Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.” Proverbs 16:24
There are times in my life when I feel the Holy Spirit prompting me to say or give something. I never want to miss that opportunity. I don’t know what somebody is facing or how I might speak life into them. I want to follow His gentle leading in my life. Being used by God to meet another’s needs brings so much joy. Let’s pray for God to bring people across our path to bless and encourage this week!

Be Encouraged.
