I am definitely not qualified to give marriage advice, but this has strengthened our relationship so much over the past year and a half. In the midst of our busy lives, it is easy to overlook opportunities to show our gratitude, encourage, and share our hearts with our closest friend, our spouse. Each day we strive to take the time to write a little “love note” to each other to remind each other how thankful we are for the sacrifices that they make in our home and in our marriage. Amidst the craziness of everyday life, communication between partners can get spotty and we sometimes “lose touch.” This special journal has been a resource that we create day-by-day to unite our hearts.
Does God need us to hurry?
Every night I just seem to be going to bed later, trying to “get ahead.” In the midst of it all, a verse in Psalm 46 came to mind . . . “BE STILL and know that I am God.”
