We Need Each Other

by | October 14, 2025

The truth is—we need each other.
I’ve never experienced this in a more real way than I have over the past few months. We have felt so much love from the body of Christ and witnessed amazing answers to prayers lifted on our behalf. We are deeply grateful.

Through this, I realized something about myself: I have a hard time asking for help. Maybe you’ve experienced that too. As I began to ask why, I recognized a quiet root of pride. I say quiet because it often hides behind reasonable-sounding excuses—“I don’t want to be a burden,” or “They’re too busy.” But if I’m honest, it’s the humbling truth that I need help that makes me hesitate. And yet, it’s true—we all do, in one form or another.

Scripture reminds us:

“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.”
Galatians 6:2

But how can believers bear each other’s burdens if we never share them? Some are obvious; others are silent. We all carry unseen weights—burdens of the heart, struggles with sin, trials we face. The first step in letting go of pride is simply admitting the need: I need help.

Two Ways to Live This Out This Week

  1. Reach out to a mature Christian and share a need in your life. Ask them to pray with you.
  2. Reach out to someone God places on your heart—through text, email, phone call, or message—and share a verse that has encouraged you. Ask how you can pray for them.

My best friend (my beautiful wife 😊) texted me a quote the other day that brought tears to my eyes and encouraged me more than she knew. I love you, Erin.

I know you’ll be blessed as you reach out—and you’ll bless someone else in the process.

Be encouraged,
Chad
