Tomorrow I head for South America with a group of guys to do several construction projects for a local orphanage in Santa Cruz, Bolivia! I am really pumped about this opportunity to serve these people in this way! I have loved every trip I have taken to South America! The group of young men that I am going with are friends that have volunteered at their own expense to go down and help an independent orphanage with some construction needs! =) I am so excited!
About a year ago, God really opened my eyes to see His special love for orphans, the fatherless, the widows, the poor and needy. He really put a burden and a greater desire on my heart to minister to these types of people. When this possible opportunity came up, I was really excited to be a part of it! I can’t believe God opened this door! Even though it’s a short trip, I am anticipating what the Lord will do in and through it! I can’t wait to tell y’all about it when I return! Please keep me and the team in your prayers as we work and serve the people of Bolivia. Pray that God will give us strength and that He will open up opportunities to share His love!
