“For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him…” – 2 Chronicles 16:9
God delights in showing Himself strong for His people. He takes joy in doing what seems impossible to us. He loves simple faith and wholehearted trust in Him.
Yet if I’m honest, there are times when I read about God’s mighty works in Scripture—the miracles, the deliverances, the impossible victories—and I forget to pause in true wonder. I know the stories of how He led Israel out of Egypt, parted the Red Sea, fed them in the wilderness, and brought them into the Promised Land. Over and over again, He proved Himself faithful.
But sometimes I miss the connection: this same miracle-working God is the One I serve today. The God who split seas and toppled walls is the very One who walks with me in my own trials.
Maybe you’re facing a mountain that feels immovable, an “impossibility” that weighs heavily on your heart. Let’s make the choice today to believe—to connect the dots between the God of the Bible and the God who still reigns. He hasn’t changed. What He did then, He can still do now.
“…If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you” – Matthew 17:20
