35 years ago today I was brought into the world. I don’t know if this is the reason why I love spring so much, but it is my favorite season by far. Everything is always so fresh, green, and vibrant. Life is currently bursting at the seams here in our little home in East Tennessee. Baby ducks and rabbits are the newest addition to our household. I love seeing the kids so full of excitement and joy. It’s a happy time.
New life is everywhere, and I am grateful to the Lord for the physical life he has blessed me with. But what I am most thankful for is the new life I have through Jesus Christ. His resurrection not only proved that He was Who He said He is, but because He lives, I can face tomorrow and whatever challenges will come. I can have the gift of eternal life as well as the strength to live day by day.
I know these are simple thoughts, but I think we all need little reminders of the most important truths.
Paul states in Romans 8:34: “Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.”
He is alive. Be encouraged.
