The Best Place to Go

by | April 8, 2025

If you have questions, if your heart is troubled, if you can’t make sense of circumstances in your life, if you are having a hard time dealing with others around you, if you have struggles, weaknesses, and problems, there is a place you can go to find the answers. This is a simple reminder that God has given us the Bible, in His infinite wisdom and love, as a letter full of the answers we need to our most perplexing and troubling situations. I love the Psalms because God enabled the writers to express their souls through their experiences. We can all relate on different levels to the joys and sorrows of the Psalmists as they walked this earth with God and others. Psalm 36:5-10 speaks to the goodness of God, and it helped me this past week:
“Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds. Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast. How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! Therefore, the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house, and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light. O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.”
God’s Word is alive and relevant today. Let us not allow ourselves to get to the point of hand-wringing or nail-biting before we have picked up what God has to say about the matter.
Be encouraged.
