Over the past year we have been seeking the Lord’s direction in our life. With mixed emotions — excitement in seeing God confirm His will for our lives, but sadness in leaving the friends and family we love. Sometimes in life, you don’t know what the future will hold, but you have seen God’s faithfulness time and time again in the past, so it is easy to just continue to trust Him.
We have made the most beautiful memories in our little home . . . the only one we have known. It is a new chapter and a new adventure, but the same God who has led us each step of the way.

Change can often be a fearful thing. New places, new people, a new environment can all be intimidating and overwhelming at times. I think this is why the Lord spoke these specific words to Joshua as he began to lead God’s people for the first time:
“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”
Joshua 1:9
Everything in your life can change, but if you know and believe that God is with you, you can face anything.
