I’m not talking about a dream in the night or a passing wish for something you want. I am talking about about a deep desire that you have your heart — an aspiration, a goal, or something that is bigger than yourself? 

I just finished reading our favorite marriage book, and this thought jumped off the page.

John 3:30 contains the words of one of the greatest men during Jesus’ earthly ministry, but I believe it is a mindset that is so easily lost amidst our media-saturated culture.

This past week has been one I won’t forget. We traveled to an unexpected funeral, and a dear friend passed along this quote which stuck with me throughout the week.

I was struck by a statement while reading a Bible commentary by Warren Wiersbe: “What you do with your heart determines what you do with your life.” 

All across this country people gather to remember that monumental day, 246 years ago — now we have the freedom to share about the greatest freedom!

As a father of 5 kids under the age of 7… I really need help. I can remember the feeling when I held each child for the first time. It was a feeling of wonder and awe, but then the thought came, “How in the world am I going to raise this child?”
