Through a very sad experience this past week, I was reminded of one of my favorite verses. Our little Evy’s beloved  hamster died.

Over the past year we have been seeking the Lord’s direction in our life. With mixed emotions — excitement in seeing God confirm His will for our lives, but sadness in leaving the friends and family we love.

A few weeks ago, our little family embarked on our first camping trip. I think I was more excited about it than the kids were! We had finally finished renovating our old camper and it was time to try it out!

35 years ago today I was brought into the world. I don’t know if this is the reason why I love spring so much, but it is my favorite season by far. Everything is always so fresh, green, and vibrant.

Have you ever been around your kids and just listened in on their conversations with each other? I have been amazed to find out what they know and what they have picked up from the world around them.
