Last night as I was reading my Bible, the words jumped right off the page at me. If you’re like me, you’ve probably wondered how there can be so much evil in the world. The wickedness is running rampant.

Through a very sad experience this past week, I was reminded of one of my favorite verses. Our little Evy’s beloved  hamster died.

What's the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of "sacrifice"? I looked up the meaning of the word as I pondered what it personally means to me today.

Over the past year we have been seeking the Lord’s direction in our life. With mixed emotions — excitement in seeing God confirm His will for our lives, but sadness in leaving the friends and family we love.

Every night I just seem to be going to bed later, trying to “get ahead.” In the midst of it all, a verse in Psalm 46 came to mind . . . “BE STILL and know that I am God.”

A few weeks ago, our little family embarked on our first camping trip. I think I was more excited about it than the kids were! We had finally finished renovating our old camper and it was time to try it out!

35 years ago today I was brought into the world. I don’t know if this is the reason why I love spring so much, but it is my favorite season by far. Everything is always so fresh, green, and vibrant.

Driving back home from a wonderful day at the zoo, we realized something was wrong — there was smoke everywhere!

Have you ever been around your kids and just listened in on their conversations with each other? I have been amazed to find out what they know and what they have picked up from the world around them.

Have you ever watched someone walk through a trial, and even in the midst of such heartache, they reflected peace, faith & hope in God?
